Our first signing to SR24, StevieRay Latham and The Nomads Of Industrial Suburbia is a new collective of musicians performing StevieRays brand new material. 

We love the new music StevieRay has brought to us with its edgy, gritty sound inspired by the likes of Nick Cave to name one of many artists.

He has recorded 2 EP’s, mostly at Saunton Road Studios and they sound great!

StevieRay is constantly coming up with new ideas for his music, art, videos, photographs which makes him an exciting artist who always moves forward and stays fresh and enchanting.

GIRL

The second signing to SR24, ‘GIRL’ is the collaboration of Dominic Greensmith (REEF, Peter Gabriel, Mick Jones) and Amy Newton (Saunton Road Studios) 

They originally got together to write for a film but have continued to write and recently had their track ‘Dancing On Their Own’ used for the pilot of a TV show called ‘Little Room’ featuring Brian Cox and Claus Bang.

The sound is a mix of Rock, Dance, Blues, Pop and Electronic and probably a few more influences! 

They are a dynamic, exciting two piece with no restrictions on their direction!

SAM GREEN

Sam Green is our most recent signing to SR24 and we are planning to record his brand new material at Saunton Road Studios very soon. He has some really exciting new material which we can’t wait to bring to you with artists like Robert Plant being an inspiration.

He’s got a strong, positive vision for his new album which makes it a very exciting prospect.

AMY NEWTON

Bio//

Amy Newton started SR24 (Saunton Records) in 2012 with her partner Simon Murfet. She recorded the album ‘Be How You Want’ at Saunton Road Studios, situated in Braunton, North Devon which they opened in 2007. The album features a guest appearance from Gary Stringer (Reef) on the song ‘Walk Next to Me’. Her new project with drummer/producer Dominic Greensmith is called ‘Girl’ and they have released their first single ‘Dancing On Their Own’ with SR24.

IDOL GIANTS

SR24 signing ‘IDOL GIANTS’ are a teenage indie three piece who always impress when they are playing live and have had lots of radio attention already. They recently made it to the top of the indie charts with their song recorded here at Saunton Road Studios with producer Joe Duddell.

They have just started their musical journey and at 14, they have some exciting adventures ahead!
